FUTURE OF RITCHIE CO. SPEEDWAY SHORT-LIVED

The Ritchie County Speedway was once a frequent destination for regional residents. The Speedway, located at Pennsboro, is now for sale. The 31-acre site along old Rt. 50 is in disarray, and has not been used for races since 2002. It is owned by the Ritchie County Agricultural and Fair Association that says it does not have the money to make repairs.
