UPDATE: PROBLEMS IN WIRT COUNTY - Police Responding To Deavers Fork

Following a shooting at the State Police barracks in Elizabeth of a man who took a UPS driver hostage, reports say State Police have asked for additional officers to respond to a house on Deavers Fork, where they are reportedly investigating the house and possibly its occupants.

Deavers Fork is off Munday Road, about three miles from State Rt. 5. Munday Road exits State Route 5 on a stretch between Elizabeth and Creston.

It is unknown whether this incident is connected to the shooting.
