Ona Helmick, 72, of Millstone, died April 11, 2002 at
Roane General Hospital. Born in Calhoun, she was the
daughter of the late Homer Isaac and Lula Brannon
Norman. She was a homemaker and a member of the
Fairview Union Church.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Roy Junior
Helmick who she married in 1952; sons, John Norman of
Orma and Jim Helmick of Marshallville, Ohio; daughter,
Janet Marks of Arnoldsburg; brothers, Orville Norman of
Orma and Denver Norman of Minnora; sister, Mrs. Pearl
Conrad of Orma; three grandchildren and aunt, Zadia
Greathouse of Richwood.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, John D.
Norman; brothers, William, Homer, Jr. and Bunker
Norman; sisters, Murl and Irene Norman.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 14 at 10:30
a.m. at the Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg.
Interment will be in the Norman Cemetery, Beech.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Sunday.
