Phillip Stephen Metz, Sr., 66 - Big Bend

The heavenly angels came down August 6, 2010 for Phillip Stephen Metz, Sr., 66, of Big Bend, West Virginia, to take him home to his Father. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Murphy; a stepfather, Richard; his son, Phillip S. Metz, Jr.; an infant son and a daughter, Elizabeth Anne Gussey. Surviving are his loving wife of 47 years, Judith A. Metz; his children, Eric Metz of Cuyohoga Falls Ohio, Lottie Thomas (Rick); his brothers are Roger Metz (Brenda) and Wayne Metz (Brenda) all of Barberton Ohio; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. May he rest in peace in his Father's arms. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Judith Metz, PO Box 23, Big Bend, WV 26136. There will be no services. Stump Funeral Home of Grantsville was in charge of the arrangements.
