| Roger Lee McClain, 65, of Newton, West Virginia, died Thursday, August 5, 2010, at his home.
He was born May 1, 1945, at Charleston WV, a son of the late Vernon Randolph and Dorma Maxine Morris McClain.
Roger was a retired heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Kay Conley McClain; sons and daughter-in-law, Gary Steven and Lauren Conley of Gastonia, NC, and Jamie Lee McClain of Norfolk, VA; one grandson, Colin Dean Conley; one brother, Robert Leo McClain of Newton.
A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, August 8 at 8:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Homer Hensley officiating. Burial will be private and at a later date in the Harold Cemetery, Uler.
Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
