CROSS COUNTRY TEAM NEEDS RACE SPONSORS

Submitted by Melinda Fitzwater The Calhoun Middle-High School Cross Country team needs race sponsors to help pay for medals, ribbons and plaques. The team will host two meets - Tuesday September 7 and the other on Saturday September 25. Awards that will be presented on September 7 will be team awards (plaques) for the top two teams for the High School girls and boys teams and top two teams for the Middle School girls and boys team. Individual awards will be medals for the top 10 runners in each division and ribbons for runners in 11th-20th place. Awards that will be presented on September 25 will be medals for the top 10 runners in each division and ribbons for runners in 11th-20th place. Any donation will be appreciated. All race sponsors are invited to the meets at the Calhoun County Park. Information will be provided at a later date on start times for both meets.
