FORAKER CHARGED WITH NEGLIGENT HOMICIDE - No Charges Yet In Two Calhoun Fatalities

Joseph Foraker, 19, of Reedy and Lancaster, Ohio, has been charged with negligent homicide and DUI related to the death of a Newton, Roane County woman. State Police presented the charges within 48 hours of a two-car collision on Route 36, south of Spencer.

The March 30 accident killed Mona Walker, age 40.

Foraker was arrested Monday by Trooper G. K. Walsh and was arraigned before Roane Magistrate Russell Goodwin, and was taken to Central Regional Jail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled.

The negligent homicide was connected to DUI resulting in death, DUI resulting in bodily injury, DUI-license revoked 2nd offense, DUI-license revoked 3rd offense and driving left of center.

The driver of the other vehicle, Priscilla Fox of Spencer, has been released from the hospital.

Calhoun State Police are yet to file charges related to two highway fatalities on March 17 and 22.
