Welcome back to Beason. It's been a long time. I have been behind on everything, so, please let me slide this time.

First, we need to send out some get well wishes to Cindy King Dickey's Mom and Chuck Kendall's Mom. Both have been ill and would appreciate it if you kept them in your heart and prayers.

We need to wish Ericka a happy 29th birthday. She is one of our stylists at the Main Street Hair Studio and one of the greatest friends I have. Happy birthday Ericka!

Ethan made his high school band debut at the Ritchie County Fair last Saturday. I am so proud of him. I am so glad he has the opportunity to participate with such a great group of kids. I truly appreciate all their kindness and patience towards the "new kid" on the block". I want everyone to get out and support our football team and band this year. Show off that great Ritchie County spirit.

We would like to send out congratulations to Valerie Blouir and Tyler McGuire on their upcoming nuptials on August 6, 2010. Congratulations.

Remember the annual Taylor Reunion will be held this Sunday, August 8, 2010. I am pretty sure they have a covered dish lunch and some social activities as well as committee meetings. I am sure they will be happy to see everyone again.

As you know, my 30th birthday is approaching quickly. OK, maybe I am just a few years off on the age. Unfortunately, no big plans this year. Big plans take money. There were several things I would've liked to have done, but, maybe next year. I did get a wonderful camera for my birthday. I love it. I have taken pictures of everything and I take it with me wherever I go. One never knows when the perfect photo opp is going to take place. But, I'm going to be ready.

I have been working on some new Rebel nail designs. I have been creating rebel flags, goal posts with football numbers and some basic polish in blues and grays. Come in and get your Ritchie County Rebel spirit on.

The Side FX Band of Calhoun County has put on some great shows recently. I highly recommend taking in one. I believe their "tour" shirts are still available but my sources say the CD's are sold out at this time. If you would like a shirt, feel free to contact me and I could hook you up with the band merchandise sales rep.

We survived our short trip to the beach. We didn't get to do a lot of activities this trip, but, it was fun just taking a break from reality. I hate reality.

I want to wish a friend of mine (who shall remain nameless at this time) good luck in school. I know you can do it. I am so proud of you. I think you are in store for great things. We will have to take a trip to Spencer's to celebrate your admission to school. One could never get more educated then a trip to Spencer's in the mall. I learn something every time I go there. Although, I felt really old when one of the salespeople accused me of being someone's mother. I was like, "dude you seriously lost any commission you had coming."

Remember to stay hydrated and well, just stay inside and enjoy the A/C.

Have a great week.
