He was a member of the New Home United Methodist Church and loved to tell others everything was going to be alright because he had the Lord on his side.

He enjoyed hunting, riding four wheelers with his grandson, spending time with his family and helping others.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carolyn V. Knapp Lynch; daughter, Diana Jo (Lynch) Lowe; son-in-law, Eric Scott Lowe; and his grandson and best friend, Joseph Scott Lowe.

Joe was such an inspiration to his family and friends. He taught us how to live with grace no matter what the circumstance. He was loved so much by his family and will be in our hearts guiding our way forever.

The family would like to thank Dr. Kelli Cawley and the Strecker Cancer Center staff. Their love, compassion and care helped Joe fight his disease with courage and dignity. We will be forever grateful.
