FIRST LADY'S WEDDING GOWN, ARROWHEAD COLLECTION AND NEW WINDOW DISPLAYS AT HISTORY CENTER

The Family History Center's museum on Main Street, Grantsville will be open this Friday starting at 11:00.

There is a new display of items belonging to West Virginia's former first lady, Grantsville native, Hovah Hall Underwood, which includes her wedding gown.

Also on display is an Indian arrowhead collection from Emory Smith and miscellaneous tools and appliances.

Check out the showcase windows featuring a one-room school and early Little Kanawha riverboats.

Heritage Village at Calhoun Park will be open on Thursday, August 12 and Saturday, August 28 from 1:00-3:00.
