The victim said the suspect, Ashli Logan Burdette, 26, of Campbells Creek, got into a silver 2000 Dodge Stratus and left the area. The victim got the license plate number.

Police found Burdette at a friend's apartment in Cross Lanes later that night. She was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.

They found Burdette's vehicle, the handgun allegedly used in the assault and the victim's purse.

Burdette is being held in South Central Regional Jail on a $50,000 bond.

FATAL SHOOTING IN HUNTINGTON - Huntington police say they have more questions than answers following a fatal shooting in a parking lot.

The victim is a 48-year-old man.

A neighbor said she heard voices and three gunshots.

Police are looking for the shooters.

CHARLESTON SHOOTING - Police say Dominique Davon Calhoun, 19, is accused of driving up to a house on Wertz Avenue at around 2:55 a.m. Monday and parking across the street.

The residence reportedly belongs to Henry Johnson and Crystal Hale.

Calhoun and another man allegedly got out of the vehicle and walked to the front of the house.

Johnson says he saw Calhoun fire several shots at his window before fleeing.

Police say the gunshots came within inches of causing a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury to the house occupants.

Calhoun was arrested and charged with two felony counts of wanton endangerment involving a firearm.

"It's crazy over here. You can't walk down the street anymore and I wouldn't carry a purse, in daytime or at night, for anything," said a Charleston woman.

MOUNDSVILLE DRIVE-BY SHOOTING - The Moundsville Police Department took a suspect into custody after a drive-by shooting.

Police believe Samuel Parker played a role in a weekend incident that shattered the windows of a Moundsville home and peppered the entry way with bullet holes.

Parker is charged with wanton endangerment and conspiracy.

SHOOTINGS ESCALATE IN CHARLESTON - Charleston police are looking for gunmen in three unrelated shootings in the city over the past few days.

Police are looking for anyone with information about a shooting early Monday outside the Kickback Lounge after an altercation broke out outside the bar and shots were fired.

Terry Lamb, 34, of Charleston was hit in the leg by gunfire.

Joshua Young, 29, of Charleston, was walking home from the Red Carpet Lounge in the East End at about 3:30 a.m., police say.

He stopped to rest when a man pulled up in a pickup truck and began arguing with him over money he allegedly owed for drugs.

The man, known to Young only as "Alvie," allegedly shot Young in the leg with a handgun and fled.

Jeremy Parsons, 31, of Poca, was killed on July 4 in the same Charleston neighborhood, an apparent drive-by shooting near the Sav-A-Lot store. No one has been arrested in connection to that incident.
