MAN MURDERED IN NICHOLAS COUNTY - A Nicholas County resident is in jail Sunday after authorities say he shot a man.

Timothy Michael Jones pulled out a .22 caliber long rifle and shot James Ronald "Ronnie" Ellison, his son-in-law, in the head, according to the Richwood Chief of Police.

Family members are saying Jones and others refused to give Ellison the keys to a family car because they believed he was going to make a drug run.

Jones has been arrested and charged with murder. No other details are available.

ELDERLY PARKERSBURG MAN HELD-UP - Parkersburg police are searching for a man after he allegedly robbed an 87-year-old man as he was leaving the local library.

Police are searching for Eric Vest, who is suspected of taking the man's car and money, after he reportedly threatened him with a knife, Saturday.

MASON GIRL SHOOTS MAN FOUR TIMES - A 16-year-old girl was taken into custody, Wednesday after allegedly shooting a 62-year-old man four times with a handgun.

The victim was identified as John Bartles. He was shot four times in his home, his injuries were reportedly not life threatening.

The girl was taken to a Dunbar juvenile detention center.

A motive for the shooting was not released.
