CYCLIST RECEIVES FRACTURE AFTER SAND RIDGE CRASH

A motorcyclist was a victim Saturday to a sharp turn on US 33-119 east of Sand Ridge, the man reportedly received a fractured leg and multiple other injuries.

The accident happened in a downhill area just off Sand Ridge, a spot that has been the site of other crashes for cyclists over the years.

He was taken to Charleston Area Medical Center by Calhoun EMS.

The Arnoldsburg VFD also responded to the incident.

The out-of-area rider was accompanied by two fellow riders.
