$14,105 GRANT FUNDS AWARDED CALHOUN GROUPS

The Calhoun Commission was informed this week about grant awards to several county groups. Delegate David Walker, who made the announcement, told the commission the grant money was awarded from the Governor's Community Participation Grant Program. Upper West Fork Community Park $2500 Grantsville Volunteer Fire Dept. $2500 Upper West Fork Volunteer Fire Dept. $2500 Calhoun County EMS $1605 Arnoldsburg Volunteer Fire Dept. $2500 Calhoun County Park $2500 The grants had been requested by the commission, with most being awarded in reduced amounts.
