Joy Morgan Stevens, 80 - Grantsville

Joy Morgan Stevens, 80, of Grantsville, West Virginia, died July 10, 2010 at home.

She was the wife of the late Robert Eugene Stevens, who preceded her in death January 22, 1994.

She was born in Arnoldsburg West Virginia, a daughter of the late T.S. (John) and Ruby J. Fox Morgan.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was sealed for time and eternity to her husband on September 8, 1978, in the Washington DC Temple. She was a charter member of the Calhoun County Historical and Genealogical Society.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by six sisters, Imogene Campbell, Audena Newhart, Lenora Morgan Davis, Pauline Morgan, Betty June Faith Morgan, and Dolly Morgan; and four brothers, Arthur, Bob, Owen and Quinton Morgan.

Service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 13 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, in Spencer, West Virginia, with President Miles Bohning officiating. Burial will be in the Morgan Family Cemetery near Arnoldsburg.

Visiting hours are Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
