Sherman Edward Wise, 46 - Wallback

Sherman Edward Wise, 46, of Wallback, West Virginia, died July 7, 2010 at his home.

He was born July 4, 1964 in Roane County, a son of the late Sherman and Sara Jane Lockhart Wise.

He was a small engine repair mechanic and landscaper. He loved fishing and spending time with his kids and grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Wise; two daughters, Angela and her husband Rocky and Theresa and her husband Robert, all of Roane County; three sons, David Starcher of Wallback, Harold Billingsley and his wife Brenda of Calhoun County, and Keith Starcher and his wife Amber of Roane County; six sisters, Barb Bush, Katie Westfall, Helen Springston, Marie Tanner, Peggy Tanner and Dorothy Ted Harris, all of Spencer; four brothers, Robert Wise of Mt. Olive, David Wise of Glenville, Ivan Wise of Spencer, and Randy Wise of Ohio; 13 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, William Buck Wise; and two sisters, Wanda Westfall and Susan Tanner.

Services were held Friday, July 9 at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home Spencer with Rev. Jackie Roberts officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Spencer.
