Helen Linch, 89 - Belpre

Helen Linch, 89, of Belpre, Ohio, passed away June 27, 2010, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.

She was born August 30, 1920, a daughter of the late Delbert and Ada Davidson of Glenville, W.Va. She was married to the late Charles Linch on February 12, 1938.

Helen was a member of Belpre Senior Citizens.

She is survived by seven children, Ellen (Delmas) Wade of Mt. Zion WV, Edna Ferree of Vienna WV, Marian (Jack) Dresch Gloucester VA, Goldine Hall of Parkersburg WV, Charles (Barbara) Linch of Mineral Wells WV, Dorothy (Gary) Haddox of Belpre OH, and Bob (Cathy) Linch of Columbus, OH.

Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, Doug Newlon, Collette Ferree-Flowers, Chris Ferree, Rochelle (Dresch) Kyle, Rusty Dresch, Brian Hall, Ramona (Hall) Snyder, Steve Linch, Stephanie Linch, Darren Haddox, Denise (Haddox) Collins, Marlo (Linch) Brown, and Meridith Linch; and 18 great grandchildren, Jeremy Newlon, Shawn Newlon, Kevin Hupp, Kayla Lawson, Caitlyn Ferree, Zachary Dresch, Loraine Dresch, Lily Dresch, Allison (Hall) Moore, Jakeb Snyder, Haley Snyder, Faith Anne Linch, Elijah Linch, Emily Linch, Grant Linch, Nicole Flowers, Brandon Davis, Kris Collins, and an expected 19th great-grandchild; several great-great grandchildren; one sister, Goldine Barton of Glenville; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Linch in 2001; two grandchilden, Rick Dresch and Renita Newlon; and five brothers and sisters, Audy Davidson, Lester Davidson, Fred Davidson, Juanita Southall, and Emma Wave Davidson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 30 at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre, with Pastor James Yoak officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens, Parkersburg. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 29.
