Pearl Conrad McCune, 84 - Orma

Pearl Conrad McCune, 84, of Orma, West Virginia, died Friday, June 24, 2010 in the Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.

She was born May 29, 1926, at Beech, a daughter of the late Isaac Homer and Lula Brannon Norman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, of 56 years, Denver Conrad; one granddaughter, Nikki Conrad; three sisters, Murl and Irene Norman and Ona Helmick; four brothers, Bunker, Homer Jr., William and Arnold Norman.

She was a homemaker and mother. A lifelong resident of Calhoun County, she attended the Walnut Memorial Church, Chloe and was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, Minnora.

Survivors include her husband, Roscoe McCune of Orma; sons, Arlen Paul Conrad of Parkersburg, Donnie Gale (Linda) Conrad of Port Deposit, MD, Robert "Butch" (Susan) Conrad of Orma and James (Melissa) Conrad of Spencer; daughter, Betty (Larry) Somerville of Parkersburg; brother, Orville Norman of Orma; 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, June 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with Pastor Lester Tanner officiating. Burial will be in the Orma UMC Cemetery, Orma.

Friends may call Sunday two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
