COUNTY COMMISSION WILL ADDRESS EMPLOYMENT ITEMS TUESDAY - Meeting Changed Over WV Day Holiday

The Calhoun Commission will meet Tuesday at 9 a.m. Employment items on the agenda include Chief Deputy Law Enforcement, Chief Deputy of County Clerk's office, Part-time help in Sheriff's office and Christine Vandale part-time maintenance. The commission will review election items, summer youth program, delinquent land list, and the county insurance policy. The West Central Beekeeping Association is on the agenda to speak, a letter of support for CRI grant, tax questions, and the LK Area Development Authority. Sherlene Conley, reappointment to Library Board, discussion regarding Calhoun Park Board members being removed for not attending meetings, and the appointment of Starling Holbert to park board. Discussion regarding the ground breaking for the Sand Ridge-Rt. 16 waterline project scheduled for June 24. The board will hear committee reports and review county budget items.
