James Dean "Jimmy" Lowe, 53 - Spencer

James Dean "Jimmy" Lowe, 53, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Thursday, June 17, 2010, in the CAMC-Memorial Hospital, Charleston.

He was born December 17, 1956, at Elizabeth, WV, a son of Darol P. and Delores J. "Dee" Jarvis Lowe of Spencer.

Jimmy was a 1975 graduate of Spencer High School. He worked with his father in the family business, Spencer BSA, Inc. He entertained many people while playing drums for several different rock bands over his lifetime. He loved his family and all God's creatures and he enjoyed spending time fishing and restoring antique furniture.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 35 years, Patricia L. Hammack Lowe; daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Jason Bennett of Spencer; three grandchildren, Kiersten, Cameron, and Kaci; two brothers, Randy P. Lowe of Spencer and John D. Lowe of Ripley; one sister, Julie A. Garrett of Spencer.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 19, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Rev. Shelly Mace officiating. Burial will be in the Round Knob Cemetery, Speed, WV.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
