Harley A. "Buddy" Conley, 63 - Looneyville

Harley A. "Buddy" Conley, 63, of Looneyville, West Virginia, died Saturday, June 12, 2010, at his home, after a sudden illness.

He was born November 1, 1946, at Spencer, a son of the late Harley C. and Ruby J. Truman Conley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Jo Conley.

Buddy was a member of the U.S.W., Local 14614, Lexington, KY and a decorated Army veteran of the Viet Nam War.

Survivors include sons, Brent and Brett Conley both of Looneyville and Bart Conley of Lincolnton, NC; stepchildren, Edward Carder of Tariff, Robby Carder of SC and Robin Carder of PA; sisters, Linda Starcher of Ripley and Peggy Nichols of Canton, OH; three grandchildren, Avery, Dustin and Gracelyn; several nieces, nephews cousins, many dear friends and close friends, Jimmy Kelly, Foy Hall and Ricky Carper.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 16 at 11:00 a.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Daniel R. "Danny" Whited officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover.

Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
