WOOD FEST 5K RUN-WALK RESULTS ANNOUNCED

The Calhoun Wood Festival 5K Run-Walk was held Saturday in Grantsville. First place overall went to male runner, Michael Thomas with a time of 18:43; 1st place female runner was Isabelle Haverty with a time of 26:58. First place male walker was William Cunningham timed at 34:56.631; 1st place female walker was Tina Bryant with a time of 43:01.872. Male runners ages 12 and under: 1st place William Baker, 26:44.578; 2nd place Cole Ritchie, 30:43.845. Male runners ages 13-19: 1st place Zach Hanshaw, 20:45.294; 2nd place Seth Aldridge, 23:41.541; 3rd place Quentin Murphy, 31:08.046. Female walkers ages 13-19: 1st place Kelly Shaffer, 43:25.404. Male runners ages 20-29: 1st place Scott Piegols, 21:57.219; 2nd place Michael Fitzwater, 28:27.074. Male runners ages 30-39: 1st place Ronzel Haverty, 26:44.927. Female runners ages 40-49: 1st place Brenda Bush, 30:44.394; 2nd place Melinda Fitzwater, 32:36.614. Male runners ages 50-59: 1st place Donnie Price, 26:30.670. Female walkers ages 50-59: 1st place Connie McColley, 43.22.978 Male runners ages 60-69: 1st place Tom McColley, 23:58.993.
