Nolan Ray Butler, 75 - Chloe

Nolan Ray Butler, 75, of Chloe, West Virginia, passed away June 4, 2010 at Charleston Area Medical Center, Memorial Division. He was born at Orma, a son of the late John and Lena Conrad Butler. He had worked for several years in the pipeline construction industry. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Launa Butler; mother-in-law, Ruth Yost of Chloe; daughter Bev (Bill) Mullins of Chloe; two sons, Rick (Rita) Butler of Grandy NC and Ron (Jackie) Butler of Princeton WV; seven grandchildren, Billy Mullins of Springfield WV, Kelly Mullins of Bridgeport WV, Adam Butler of Lock Port NY, Cassie Elkins and Jason of Chloe, Josh Butler of Grandy NC and Colby Butler of Princeton WV; one step grandson, Adam Lane of Arnoldsburg WV; one sister Murilene (Kenneth) Witt of Coca FL. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, Lucas Dale Butler; two sisters, Ilene Metz and Norma Stuck; and one brother, Arlen Butler. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 7 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Tim Hickman will officiate. Interment will be in the Yost Cemetery at Chloe. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.
