Early stage of fire which later destroyed an historic dwelling, owned by Darren and Rosemary Lewis (Photo by Bernard Taylor) Roane County fire departments responded at 8:30 p.m. Friday to a house fire in the Gandeeville community, once the landmark Countsville Post Office. The fire in the large two-story house raged out of control into the evening.
