THEY'RE ONE SMOOTH BUNCH - "Choral Reflections" Rehearses For Follies

(04/03/2002)

Follies Director Harry Beall pulls group together

The Calhoun Choral Reflections group had their weekly rehearsal Monday evening at Calhoun Middle/High School, and what a group it is. This recently put-together choir from around Calhoun is making beautiful music.

Follies Director Harry Beall says they'll go far beyond "The Follies" as a community group. This group will stick around for further performances.

Between taking the music quite seriously, this is a bunch of cut-ups, which made the rehearsal a lot of fun to watch.

Don McCartney and Jim Sullivan rehearse

These guys are serious music makers,
but they chatter a lot between selections

"They're one smooth bunch," said Beall, who is having "the time of my life."

Of course there will be much more for the big event, music and dance with many different groups and performers.

Tickets, all free, are now available at the school, call 304-354-6148, Extension 22.

Other locations where tickets can be secured:

Thursday, April 4 (4-5 p.m.) Foodland, Grantsville

Friday, April 5 (11 a.m. - 1 p.m) Calhoun Banks Lobby, Grantsville

Monday, April 8 (6:30 p.m.) Choir Room CM/HS

Group should continue beyond "The Follies"
