GILMER HIGH'S TOP SCHOLAR KINDER HAS CALHOUN CONNECTION

Gilmer County High School's top scholar for 2010 has a Calhoun connection.

Noah Lee Kinder, the Gilmer valedictorian, is the grandson of Gloria Stevens and the late "Duck" Stevens of Grantsville. He is the son of Rick and Lee Kinder of Glenville.

In addition to a long list of activities, he is current president of the school's National Honor Society and received the West Virginia Student of Excellence Award.

Upon graduation he will have already earned 28 college credits at Glenville State College.

Kinder plans to major in nursing, and later pursue a career in nursing anesthesia.
