Richard Ray Clemons, 74 - Glenville

Richard Ray Clemons, 74 of Main Street, Glenville, West Virginia, passed away May 23, 2010 at Elkins Hospice Care Care Center, Elkins, WV. He was born in Braxton County, a son of the late Riley and Nellie Heater Clemons. He was retired from the North Branch Coal Company. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Lenora Minney Clemons; one son, Roger Ray Clemons of Glenville; one brother, Jack Clemons of Normantown, WV; two sisters, Ruth Anne Goodrich of Normantown and Ruby Clemons of Glenville; 3 grandchildren, Rachel Kay Clemons of Glenville, Garrett Clemons and Melissa Clemons both of Buckhannon, WV. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Roy, Randal, Rollin Gene and Russell Dale Clemons; and one sister, Rosa Clayton. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 27 at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville, WV. Interment will be in the Collins Community Cemetery at Stumptown. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
