Ervin M. Yeager, 80 - Troy

Ervin M. Yeager, 88, of Troy, West Virginia, passed away May 18, 2010 at his home.

He was born at Index, Gilmer County, a son of the late Granville and Florinda Yeager.

Surviving are his six sons, Charlie (Karen) Yeager of Troy, Robert (Ola) Yeager of Weston WV, Roger Yeager of Gassaway WV, Reggie Yeager of Ashby WV, Arthur (Shirley) Yeager of Sand Fork WV, and Lane (Mary) Yeager of Jane Lew WV; six daughters, Judy (Bruce) Fisher of Weston, Annette (Charlie) Ledbetter of Ohio, Wanda Yeager and Connie (Ralph) Tinney all of Fairmont WV, Brenda (Ronnie) Thompson and Patty (Jimmy) Stump all of Stouts Mills WV; 40 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Cleo "Stell" Yeager; three brothers, Ottie, Junior and Hayward "Buck" Yeager; two sisters, Rachael Plant and Merl Frederick; two sons, Dwayne and Steven; and two grandsons, Bruce Fisher and David Taylor.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, May 21 at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville. Rev. Phillip Wilson will officiate. Interment will be in the Yeager-Taylor Cemetery on Dusk Camp.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. Friday until time of services.
