| Stephen Andrew Johnson, 75, of Birch Tree, Mo., died Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center, Poplar Bluff, Mo.
He was born in Smethport, Pa., the son of Russell E. and Emily McCoy Johnson.
He attended University of Southern Colorado. He was a retired United States Air Force veteran, serving from Mar. 1953-Aug. 1964, including as crew chief/flight engineer on the DC-54, C-47, and DC-3. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Veterans.
Surviving are his wife, Reva Lena Murphy, whom he married on Feb. 14, 1997; two sons, Robin Johnson of Beavercreek, Ohio, and Wayne Johnson of Orma; two daughters, Pamela Johnson of San Diego, Calif., and Gail Johnson-Brown of McAllen, Tex.; one brother, Barry Johnson; one sister, Mary Anne Gallant; and four grandchildren, Philip and Nathan Darrow and Erik and Brady Johnson.
Services were held at Yarber Mortuary Chapel, Mountain View, Mo., with Robin Johnson officiating. Burial was in Veterans Cemetery, Mountain View.
