Coach Melinda Fitzwater offers her congratulations to the Calhoun Track and Field team for a great season.
"Each and every one of you did great and I am proud of you. You set your own personal records and always did your best. You ran and threw in the cold, snow, heat, and rain," said Fitzwater.
"Good luck at States to the boys 4x100 and 4x200 relay teams, and to your teammates who did not make states plan on making it next year as competitors."

Fitzwater says, "Not many people know about one of Calhoun High's smallest teams, a team that practices on the parking lot, practice field and at Glenville State College. They are a team without a track but that has never stopped them from bringing home medals and ribbons and qualifying for states."
"I hope you will show your support by being at Laidley Field next weekend, just look for the red Calhoun tent."
