CALHOUN COUNTY PRIMARY ELECTION RESULTS

(05/12/2010)
Incumbent David Walker has defeated Ron Blankenship in the 33rd District race for House of Delegates.

Mike Ritchie narrowly defeated Connie Boone by 22 votes for County Clerk.

Incumbent Calhoun Commissioner Bob Weaver was elected to a third term.

Circuit Clerk Shelia Garretson was unopposed.

School board candidate Steve Whited defeated Mike Yeager for the only contested seat.

Average voter turn-out was 24%, with 31.39% of registered Democrats voting and 19.13% of registered Republicans voting.
