Welcome back to Beason. We are so glad you stopped by in spite of the gigantic potholes that will eat your car alive. While we're on the subject, I'm thinking the guests at the North Central Regional Hotel could help us out with that. Well, of course, if it doesn't cut into their Myspace time. I mean just because I work everyday and nearly ruin my car going down our street, doesn't mean they should have to get off their butts, right?

We need to wish Katie at 7-11 a very happy belated birthday. So, if you haven't wished her a happy birthday, you need to slide in and do so. Katie is a very hard worker and I know I appreciated her help while I was there. Happy Birthday Katie!

We hope all the Moms out there had a wonderful Mother's Day. I got some roses and a Sally's Beauty Supply card. I must've been a good mommy this year! It's only Monday and I've already blown almost all the credit on the card. I can't help it. I always want to find stuff to help extend my variety of nail accessories.

Speaking of nails, I got my exam results in the mail on Friday. I passed! So, I will be officially licensed in two weeks. This was a really big thing for me and I appreciate everyone who supported me through it. Anyone who thinks that they're too old to go back to school, not true! Do what you want, it's never too late.

The shop is having a special on Saturday, May 15, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. We are doing "Pedicures for Pringle." Pedicures will be $30 on Saturday. We will be donating $15 from every pedicure to the Pringle family. We have had a lot of interest, so we may have to have an additional day to fit everyone in. If you have any questions or want to make an appointment, please don't hesitate to call, 304-643-2022 or 304-659-2961.

My brother and my sister-in-law were up from North Carolina on Saturday. We had a wonderful dinner at my Mom's and had fun talking about old times. My brother also gave Ethan some golf lessons (not sure when the golf interest came about) and Avery some basketball etiquette (seems Avery doesn't play well with others at times, there's a shocker!).

Ethan's big band trip is coming up on Saturday. The high school and middle school band will be traveling to Cedar Point for an event and then hang out in the park the rest of the day. I had the opportunity to go with them, but Ethan destroyed that idea. For some reason, he didn't want me to go. I always thought I was a cool mom, guess I was wrong. Anyway, I hope everybody has a great time, even if it is without me.

The Pennsboro Little Rebels T-Ball team had some fine games this past week. They are pulling together and playing as a team. I don't want to brag or anything, (ok, I'm bragging) my Avery made an awesome catch during the game against the Pirates to help us win the game. But, I am proud of all our players as they have developed some great skills over the season. So, congratulations to all of our team members for their efforts and their sportsmanship!

The last I heard there were only 17 days left of school. Oh my. There goes any sanity I might've had left. Let the games begin.

I am sorry to tell you I have no toad or PDA stories to report to you at this time. However, I am sure the column will be filled with them over the summer. So, I am sure you will look forward to those in the upcoming weeks.

Have a wonderful week.
