| Denzil B. Hendrickson, 72 of Creston, West Virginia, passed away Sunday May 2, 2010 at CAMC in Charleston WV, after a short illness.
He served in the US Army for 10 years. He was a CNA for several years at Wood County Committee on Aging and retired from Calhoun County Committee on Aging.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Delores Hendrickson; 1 son Leonard (Charlene) Boggs of Indiana; 3 grandchildren, Jarod (Ashley) Trapp of Indiana, Sarah Taylor of Florida, and Crystal Taylor of Indiana; 2 sisters, Weada (JR) Greathouse of Annamoriah, WV, Rosalee (Charles) White of Creston; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be Thursday May 6, at 1:00 p.m. at Matheny Whited Funeral Home, of Elizabeth with Rev. Mark McCloy officiating. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until time of the service on Thursday.
Interment at Snyder Cemetery in Calhoun County.
