Loren Howley, local attorney, spoke to the Lights On students at Pleasant Hill School on March 27 about her profession. She discussed the educational requirements of becoming a lawyer and the different scenarios for which everyone utilizes the services of an attorney at some time in their lives.

Becky Miller is teaching another cooking class to Lights On students at Pleasant Hill. They made Easter cookies last night - the students can eat the cookies, but most prefer to take them home to show mom and dad what they've done. Becky doesn't let an opportunity pass to teach the students math by measuring the ingredients and teaching about proper nutrition. Becky has the assistance of husband Arlis and daughter, Roseanna, who volunteer to work with the students.
