(03/29/2002)
The Calhoun Sheriff's Department has arrested Josh McKown, 21, of Arnoldsburg for breaking and entering the Wayne Thompson property on Spring Run, near Arnoldsburg on January 31.

Deputy Sheriff Carl Ballengee has charged McKown with grand larceny, related to the stealing of tools valued at $1,200. McKown is currently in Central Regional Jail. The tools were recovered.

Further charges were filed yesterday against McKown related to an earlier B & E at the same location on January 17. Ballengee said a pawn ticket for a saw, CB radio and other equipment from Duck's Pawn Shop in Spencer was traced back to McKown and two other subjects, Jonathan McIntyre, 19, of Arnoldsburg and Dennis Mike Kelley, 19, of Annamoriah.

McKown was charged with breaking and entering and petit larceny for the January 17 incident, and grand jury charges are pending against McIntyre and Kelley.
