Patti Tanner, 55, of McConnelsville, Ohio, died April 15, 2010, in the Genesis Healthcare System - Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville, Ohio. She was born October 29, 1954 in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of the late Hollis and Violet Hillyer Buchanan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Preston "Bill" Tanner; brothers, William and Richard Buchanan. Survivors include children, David Harold of McConnelsville, and Holli Harold of Middletown, Ohio; stepchildren, Denise Tanner of Spencer, WV, Regina Jurkovich of Amma, WV, Bill Tanner of Ravenna, Ohio and Sheri Koon of Spencer; brother, James Buchanan of Ellet, Ohio; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 20 at 3:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial will be in the Tanner Cemetery, Spencer. Friends may call Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
