Betty Joe Siers Miller, 71 - Parkersburg

Betty Joe Siers Miller, 71, died April 16, 2010, at the O.S.U. Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born February 20, 1939, in Stumptown, West Virginia, a daughter of Harley and Thelma Godfrey Siers.

She was a 1958 graduate of Calhoun County High School, a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ at Rockport. She enjoyed driving and showing antique cars.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Robert L. Miller; two daughters, Sherry Bartlett and husband, Randy, of Parkersburg and C. Kay Miller of Ostrander, Ohio; one son, William "Brad" Miller and wife, Susan, of Mineral Wells; three sisters, Patricia Vannoy of Mineral Wells and Lois Jean Sears and Carolyn Sue Collins, both of Stumptown; three grandchildren, Nicholas and Adam Miller and Samantha Bartlett; and one great-granddaughter, Ciera Bartlett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Harry F. Siers.

Services will be Tuesday, April 20 at 11 a.m. at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg, with Evangelist Steve Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Collins Community Cemetery, Stumptown. The family will receive friends Monday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
