| Janie Phyllis Houchin, 72, of Beech Community, Orma, West Virginia, passed away April 16, 2010 at her home following an extended illness.
She was born at Creston, a daughter of the late Leonidas and Beulah Woodring McCoy.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Grover Houchin, Jr.; 3 sons, James (Kelly), Douglas (Kim), and Stephen (Tammy); 1 daughter, Rhonda (John) Whipkey; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 1 brother, Don McCoy; 3 sisters, Bonnie Sturms, Joan Davis, and Julia Boatright.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, April 19 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Rick Metheney will officiate. Interment will be in the Houchin Cemetery at beech.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 12-noon until time of services Monday. |
