Third Calhoun family experiences fire loss within weeks

Fire destroyed the home of Jimmy and Tammy Bell Monday evening on Carroll Rd.

The house and contents were a total loss.

The Bell's reportedly have four children.

It was the third Calhoun family to be burned-out within weeks.

The Grantsville VFD responded to the call at 5:42 p.m., with the fire well underway when they arrived.

The dwelling is located a short distance off Rt. 5 near Big Bend, beside Oak Station, a gas compressor station.

Firemen were called to the scene for a re-kindle at 9 p.m. and again at 11 p.m.
