I attended Buddy Watkins birthday party March 26th with Wanda Richards and her daughter Jeanie Bailey. Charles Haverty brought Buddy's brother Jack, his brother Darius and his sister Mary were there. Wanda and Jeanie, brought a bouquet of flowers. Mary brought him pansies and I gave him a jar of blueberry jelly. Roy Schafer, Glen Siers, Mary's husband Richard also attended. Buddy said it was the best birthday party he had ever had. It was a good visit and we all love Buddy.

My daughter Tawni, her friend Jerry, and son Tyler and I drove to Leivasy, Saturday evening for the Easter holiday. Ben's birthday was Sunday. We had a cookout and a bonfire that evening. We stayed until Monday afternoon. It was good to be with family and the grandchildren. Ruby and Lea are doing well.

Everyone here on the West Fork are having their gardens plowed and disc. Spring flowers are out and beautiful. I was pleased to have the opportunity to get down to Olga Postalwait's with her son Blaine. We dug some of her flowers and Tyler helped me plant them. It feels great to have flowers of all the little ladies I have known.

I have a few hummingbird feeders I put out March 31. The birds have already been spotted since mid March in the state of WV. Heather has hers out too but we haven't seen any yet.

Karen Glen's daughter-in-law her son Jeremy and his wife Terry and the two boys 7 and 5 years spent last week-end or rather March 29th with Glen. Karen lives in Cleveland. Terry and Jeremy are from Fishersville VA. Terry is a vet and owns her own clinic. Jeremy is park ranger in the Blue Ridge Parkway. They all had a good visit.

Loving this weather.

Have a wonderful week!
