UPDATED:EARTH RUMBLES UNDER BRAXTON COUNTY - Intensity Increased, Location Changed

The size of an earthquake under Braxton County has been inceased.

The US Geological Society originally said the quake registered a 2.8. Ithas been increased to a 3.4 on the Richter scale.

The epicenter has also been moved.

Nine miles west southwest of Gassaway, 12 miles west southwest of Sutton and 13 miles northeast of Clay to the Duck, Servia, Framwtown area.

ORIGINAL STORY - A second small earthquake has been reported in West Virginia.

The United States Geological Survey says a 2.8 magnitude earthquake happened early Sunday morning under Braxton County.

It was about 11 miles from Sutton in the Village of Chapel.

Officials reported a possible earthquake last weekend in the Logan County town of Man.

It registered at 2.9.

Officials say the weak Braxton quake was felt by some people, with no damage reported.
