| School of the Soldier, a boot camp for people interested in the historical events of the American Civil War is slated for Saturday and Sunday at the Calhoun County Park.
The event, is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, there is no admission charge.

Included in the weekend event is a county-wide flea market from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Yard sale items are welcome.
Crafters, vendors, and concessions will also be on hand.
