WIRT SCHOOL BUS STRUCK - Driver Leaves Scene

A Wirt County school bus was struck by a vehicle while making the evening run on Rt. 53, about one and one-half miles from State Rt. 5 near Elizabeth. After the vehicle stuck the bus, the driver quickly left the scene. The bus driver reportedly obtained the license plate number and police arrested the driver some distance away from the crash. Early reports indicate no one was injured, but authorities could not be reached for comment.
