Louis E. "Bub" Fields, 54, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Thursday, March 18, 2010, from smoke inhalation during a fire at his home. He was born September 15, 1955, at Walton, WV, a son of the late Cecil C. and Christine Craft Fields. He was a laborer and a handyman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Osterhoudt and a brother, Glennis Fields. Surviving relatives include his longtime companion, Tina Hamons, of Spencer; two sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Harper of Spencer and Wanda Lee Moore of Salyersville, Kentucky; two brothers, Donald Fields of North Carolina and Winfred Fields of Spencer; six step-grandchildren; aunt, Irene Ferrell of Spencer; and 17 nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Sunday, March 21, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Jack Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Mt.
