| Gorden L. Brooks, 73, of Big Root, West Virginia died at his home March 7, 2010.
He was born September 10, 1936 in Upshur County, WV, a son of the late James and Emma Hermin Brooks.
He is survived by 3 step-daughters, Debbie Marks of Grantsville WV, Dianna Gilmon of Lenore WV and Janie Hall of Delbarton WV; 2 stepsons, Danny Evans of Grantsville and Sidney Evans; one son, Gary Lee Nicholson of Grantsville WV; one brother, Jim Brooks; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 12 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Matt Morrison will officiate. Interment will be in Hunt Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
