LEARN & SERVE STUDENTS HAVE 'READ TO ME DAY'

(03/10/2010)

Learn and Serve members visit Pleasant Hill
and Arnoldsburg Elementary schools March 2 to
read to the children on Dr. Seuss' birthday.

Learn and Serve students are involved in various activities over the course of the school year; one of those activities was Dr. Seuss Read to me Day.

This is just one of the many activities that Learn and Serve, a volunteer organization, does throughout the school year.

The organization is comprised of Calhoun County High School students. Their mission is to help our community and promote how important it is to volunteer to others.

Learn and Serve plans on going to Minnie Hamilton Health Systems sometime in the near future to visit patients in long-term care and visit children in Minnie's Rainbow Day Care Center.

The Learn and Serve chapter leader is Bev Morford. If it wasn't for her hard work, we would not be able to help our community in the ways that we do. We would like to give special thanks to Ms. Morford for her hard work. It is well appreciated.
