Dora Ann Sampson, 85 - Chloe

Dora Ann Sampson, 85, of Chloe, West Virginia, passed away March 7, 2010 at Minnie Hamilton Health System, Grantsville, WV. She was born in Clay County, a daughter of the late Albert and Ocie Sears. Surviving are a sister-in-law, Geraldine Elizabeth Sears of St. Albans WV and a close friend, Thelma Carte of Chloe; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husbands, Ezra McCumbers and Darrel Vaughn; brothers, Ambert, Ottis, Dennis and Otsil Sears; sisters, Gladys Sears and Shirley Sears. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 10 at Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg. Interment will be in the Sears Cemetery at Nebo. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
