SCHOOL BOARD WILL HEAR UPDATE ON FACILITIES PLAN - Snow Days Will Be Addressed

Calhoun Schools superintendent will give a report on the 2010-2011 Comprehensive Education Facilities Plan (CEFP) at Monday evening's meeting of the local school board. Other reports to be heard by the board related to progress on the security systems of county schools and a report on a alcohol and drug-free grant. The board will likely address amending the school calendar to allow for more make-up days following days-off for winter storms. The board will decide to put forth the longtime county library levy, which needs to be renewed for another five years.
