Grantsville's Police Chief Charles Stephens is resigning to join the West Virginia Department of Natural Resources as an enforcement officer.Stephens has served as the Grantsville chief for over 2 1/2 years. Stephens says he will be leaving about March 15, but will continue to work "cleaning up old cases." He intends to remain a resident of the county.
