HUNTINGTON BANK ROBBERY - A Huntington man has been arrested and charged with a Friday bank robbery.

It was the second bank robbery in four days in the city.

Lonnie W. Bradbury Jr. has been charged with the robbery, according to a press release issued by the Huntington Police Department.

Authorities indicate the money has been recovered.

WAFFLE HOUSE SHOOTING OVER JACKET - Martinsburg police are investigating a shooting at a Martinsburg Waffle House restaurant, sparked over an argument regarding a jacket.

Police have identified 32-year-old Gary Garfield Lane as a person of interest in the case.

Police went to the Waffle House Sunday after receiving a report of shots fired in the business.

A black male got into an argument with the victim after the victim was ordered to take his jacket off.

The victim told the suspect he was not getting his jacket and pulled out a knife.

The suspect then pulled a gun and shot one round toward the victim.

The victim was not hit, the bullet hit an interior wall of the business.

MAN STABBED IN NECK - Fairmont Police arrested Thomas Smith, 58, for allegedly stabbing David McRobie in his neck outside of the Fairmont Fitness gym, Thursday.

The complaint says Smith approached McRobie at his car and once McRobie opened his door to talk to Smith, Smith stabbed him in his neck with an automatic style folding knife.

When McRobie tried to get away, he suffered serious cuts to his hand.

After the incident, Smith then went back into the gym and worked out until Fairmont Police took him into custody.

Smith is charged with malicious wounding and is in the North Central Regional Jail on a $50,000 cash only bond.
